GLOBAL PEAKS, SHARED STORIES: Voices of the Peaks & WildTech Museum

Global Peaks: Shared Stories presents a conceptual exhibition in print, developed through Museum Studies capstone work and shaped by interpretive, reflective, and museum‑minded approaches. The project uses four mountain landscapes—Mount Rainier, the Alps, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Mount Everest—as case studies for examining how place, culture, and experience intersect within exhibition and interpretive practice.Part I, Voices of the Peaks, functions as an imagined exhibition. Through themes of challenge, adaptability, resilience, and respect, it considers how mountain landscapes carry cultural meaning across communities and generations. Sub‑themes introduce readers to topics such as sacred landscapes, community memory, ecological change, ritual practices, innovation, and endurance. This section models how conceptual exhibitions can use place‑based case studies to support reflection, interpretation, and meaning‑making.Part II introduces the WildTech Museum, the imagined institution designed to extend the exhibition’s educational and community‑centered goals.
